What if I want to pay you privately?
I work on a sliding scale based on the highest individual income in the home as follows:
Under $40,000/yr. - $95 per session
$40,000 - $70,000/yr. - $115 per session
Over $70,000/yr. - $135 per session

Cash, Check or Credit Card are all acceptable.

When is payment due?
At the time of the session.

What if you are unable to help me?
I'll be glad to give you three referrals to other highly qualified Mental Health Professionals.

How do I know if I should make an appointment?
If you have a life problem, a relationship problem, a substance abuse or addiction problem, or if you feel depressed, anxious or angry, you might benefit from counseling.

I've tried to handle things on my own and it's not working. What can I do?
Sometimes getting an objective third party opinion can be extremely helpful.  If a there is a pattern of thinking or acting that is a problem, it can be a difficult and lonely business trying to change it on your own.  Counseling can often help.

Do counseling, psychotherapy and therapy all mean the same thing?
Generally, yes.  They all refer to "talk therapy" where speaking with an objective third party is used to overcome and work through problems.

Does it matter what therapist I see?
I believe so.  The better the "fit" the better the results.

Do you see people from all over the Tampa Bay area or just Tampa?
I see people from all over the Tampa Bay Area, including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Polk Counties .  I am located very near downtown Tampa so my office is accessible for most people. Also, I offer internet counseling in the State of Florida.
