I also provide Therapy & Counseling remotely or virtually by phone or through Video Services on your Phone, Computer Tablet or other video enabled device..
Oakfield Dr is off of Kings Ave - 2 blocks from St Rd 60 - Turn right on Oakfield Dr & a few blocks off Lumsden Rd -Turn left on Oakfield Dr – It is the building after the bowling alley on the left.
When are you available for Therapy or Counseling Sessions?
All availability is by appointment only.

Can I fill out the initial session forms Online?
Yes, to do that call me at 813-629-6890 and I will give you a 9 digit pin with instructions to securely submit the forms to me
before our Therapy or Counseling Session
How soon can you see me?
In most cases I can schedule a new Therapy or Counseling appointment for the next business day.
What if I need to see you right away?
In most cases I can schedule emergency Therapy or Counseling appointments the same business day.
How long are the Therapy or Counseling sessions?
A Therapy or Counseling Session industry standard is a 45 minute counseling hour.
How often should we meet for a Therapy or Counseling Session?
For you to get the most out of your Therapy & Counseling sessions it is best that we meet at least once per week. For some cases it may be recommended to have a Therapy or Counseling session multiple times in a week until enough progression is made to go to a Therapy or Counseling Session once per week. While having a Therapy or Counseling Session every two weeks can be arranged, it is far better for both the Counselor or Therapist & the patient to have a Therapy or Counseling Session at least once per week.
Do you take insurance for your Therapy or Counseling Sessions?
Yes, as a Therapist or Counselor I accept some, but not all, insurance. Please call or e-mail me for details.
What are your private pay (without insurance) Therapist or Counselor Rates?
All Private Pay in office Therapy or in office Counseling is $100 per session. Remote Therapy, Video Therapy & Telephonic Counseling Sessions are $100 per session. Prices are subject to change without notice.
What methods of payment do you accept for your Therapy & Counseling Sessions?
Cash, Check or Credit Card are all acceptable for all Therapy & Counseling Sessions..
When is payment due?
At the time of the Therapy or Counseling session.
What if I need to reach you in a crisis and you are not available (weekend, holiday, late night)?
Please call me on my cell phone 813-629-6890 or text or email me. I generally respond quickly. If you cannot wait, please call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
What if you are unable to help me?
I'll be glad to give you three referrals to other highly qualified Therapists, Counselors or Mental Health Professionals.
How do I know if I should make an appointment for Therapy or Counseling?
If you have a life problem, a relationship problem, addiction problem, or if you feel depressed, anxious or angry, you might benefit from Depression Counseling, Anxiety Counseling, Anger Management Counseling, Grief & Loss Counseling, Substance Abuse Counseling which are similar to Anxiety Therapy, Anger Management Therapy, Grief & Loss Therapy & Substance Abuse Therapy.
I've tried to handle things on my own and it's not working. What can I do?
Sometimes getting an objective third party opinion can be extremely helpful. If there is a pattern of thinking or acting that is a problem, it can be a difficult and lonely business trying to change it on your own. Seeking out a qualified Therapist or Counselor to provide Therapy or Counseling can often help.
Do counseling, psychotherapy and therapy all mean the same thing?
Generally, yes. They all refer to "talk therapy or counseling" where speaking with an objective third party is used to overcome and work through thoughts & emotions. Examples of this are Depression Counseling, Anxiety Counseling, Anger Management Counseling, Grief & Loss Counseling, Substance Abuse Counseling which are similar to Anxiety Therapy, Anger Management Therapy, Grief & Loss Therapy & Substance Abuse Therapy.
Does it matter what therapist or counselor I see?
I believe so. The better the "fit" the better the results.
Do you see people from all over Florida area or just Tampa?
I see people from all over the Florida virtually & in person, including Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco and Polk Counties . I am located very near downtown Tampa so my office is accessible for most people. Also, I offer Internet counseling in the State of Florida virtually. .
